Yes, we know, the batteries of our smartphones are terrible and can barely last a day. But that is partly our fault because we have been charging them wrong our whole life.
Many leave their phones all night on the charger, thinking that the next day they won’t have to worry about that battery. But, that is the first mistake we all do.
How to properly charge the phone? Time to learn:
- Do not leave your phone on the charger when it’s fully charged. If the battery is full, yet the phone is on the charger all night, you create a very bad habit for the battery. So, once the battery is full, remove the charger. It comes as the muscular relaxation after a stressful exercise, experts say. And you will feel miserable if you exercise uninterrupted for hours.
- In fact, it is better that you don’t charge your phone to 100%. At least not when you don’t have to. Better charge it 50-60% because the high voltage can cause stress on the battery. That way the battery won’t last long probably, but feel free to put it on the charger whenever you want.
- Connect the phone to a charger whenever you have a chance. It turns out that batteries are much “happier” when charging as necessary throughout the day, rather than leave them on all night charger. Charge you phone even when you lose 10% of your battery life. It’s completely OK to put and remove the phone from the charger several times a day.
- Be careful not to overheat your Smartphone. The batteries of smartphones are very sensitive and even Apple advises to remove the mask before charging the phone. And if you notice that your device heats up while charging, remove the mask immediately.
