Proper pH body levels are very important for our health, especially when it comes to disease like cancer. Our body goes through a lot to maintain alkaline pH value of 7.35, which is considered normal, but this can be very hard due to every day stress and poor diet, which leads to acidic environment in the body where all sorts of diseases thrive.
Unhealthy food makes it difficult to maintain proper alkaline diet. All the fast and processed food, the unhealthy snack, sugar, microwave meals, are the main reason for the increase number of cancer patients in the last few decades.
In order to prevent cancer, or improve the healing process in case of cancer, we need to eat more alkaline food and avoid acidic foods.
Acidic environment is perfect for the creation and growth of cancer cells, so we need an alkaline diet to fight inflammations and restore the balance in our organism.
For this purpose, you need to consume more leafy green vegetables, root vegetables, beans, garlic, onions, leek, nuts and seeds, broccoli, cauliflower, herbs and spices and small amount of non-gluten grains.
A few times a week you can eat organic fish or poultry, or 2-4 ounces of grass-fed meat. You can consume fresh organic fruits and vegetables as much as you can.
Avoid glutinous grains because they cause inflammation, so eliminate whole grains, what, rye, cereals, pasta, brad, muffins, cookies, cakes and all the other baked goods from your diet.
Also, avoid the “gluten free” prepared products, because they contain processed oils and added sugar. Eat more non-gluten grains like millet, quinoa, buckwheat or amaranth.
Avoid or don`t eat sugar at all because cancer cells use more glucose than normal, healthy cells. Sugar is also unhealthy because it drains the magnesium from the body, which also leads to cancer development and growth.
“Natural” sugar like honey and agave are also to be avoided. Instead, eat dried apricots or figs, fresh pineapple or unsweetened applesauce.
A study by the Cornell University Cow has discovered that dairy is one of the most dangerous foods when it comes to cancer risk, due to the casein protein. Dairy products can cause high acid production which leads to bone deterioration, as well as inflammation and cancer proliferation.
